Woodson
Bend's signature hole. This par 5
slight dogleg right then left gives
way to a wide fairway at the 200-yard
marker. If your drive is to the left
there is a good chance you will drive
through the fairway to the bunkers or
the left hazard. The fairway opens to
the right just past the jetting rocks,
which extend from the right side. Once
down the middle you have a decision to
make. Do I go for it or lay up. The
shot to the green plays a little
longer due to the fact the shot must
carry a beautiful lake to an elevated
green. The green is large and terraced
from front to back, rising 3 feet.
Bunkers reside on the right and left
sides. If you pull your approach shot
to the right, the ball may find
trouble in the gully to the right. Pin
position can play a very important
role in putting difficulty. Birdies
are very possible, but do not
underestimate this hole.
