The par five seventh is
very interesting and is the number 1 handicap hole on
the course. The hole is a 90-degree dogleg to the left.
The turn is protected by large trees, which eliminate
cutting the corner. The landing area is 200 yards off
the tee with out of bounds on lengthy drives. The second
shot should be kept to the left side. The fairway slants
to the right causing the ball to roll in the direction
of out of bounds. If you do not make the 150-yard
marker, you have a blind shot to the green. Your third
shot to the green tends to move your ball left to right.
The green, nestled in the valley, is long and narrow
with bunkers on the right, front and left side. The
green rises 2 feet from front to rear. You can expect
many unforeseen breaks.
