likes boating more than my family and I, but we don’t like to be on
a boat every day and every weekend. Between the four of us, we like to
do a little bit of everything, and Woodson Bend is perfect for that.
I’ll always remember playing a round of golf in the morning and then
driving our golf cart over to the dock to meet my wife and
kids…everyone was happy. After a day on the lake and cooking out, we
would play either basketball or beach volleyball, then take a dip in
the pool before going ‘deer-hunting’ as the kids would say
(watching the deer come out at night when we would drive through the
woods).” |

In 1975..Jack and I were guests of
friends who had a condo at Woodson Bend. From the moment we
drove on property we were in love with the total scene. We
rented lots after that...and then happily bought our 1st., condo there
in 1980. 30 years later, we are still in love with each other...AND
the whole scene. We now own 2 condos' (as our family has grown) and
Woodson Bend is still our favorite place on Earth. The peace, beauty,
and memories of the Bend are constants. We can't stay away. All of the
departments are our joy and so helpful. We love them (those who work
for the Bend...us.) Retired now, we spend half of our time in Cincy...and
half at the Bend. Our reunions are there. Our Christmas (in July) is
there. Our hearts are there. Our love is there. AND..how
wonderful to report...our children and grandchildren feel the same. I
could write a book (in fact I am) on the wonderful memories and the
expectations of what is hopefully yet to come.
